Adobe and NVIDIA Expand Partnership for AI Creative Tools
Adobe is optimizing Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D, Frame.io and Brand Concierge on NVIDIA technology, including RTX Spark and Nemotron open models.

What you need to know
Adobe and NVIDIA announced an expansion of their partnership to optimize Adobe's flagship creative and marketing tools, including Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D, Frame.io and Brand Concierge, on NVIDIA accelerated computing and open models, with stated gains of up to 2x faster AI processing in several applications.
- Adobe is optimizing Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D for the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip, which the release says launches October 16.
- Adobe states the optimized applications deliver up to 2x faster AI processing, editing, color and effects.
- Adobe Brand Concierge is optimized with NVIDIA Nemotron open models and will be available to enterprise customers later this year.
Faster Creative Applications
Adobe said it is bringing NVIDIA's RTX Spark superchip to its agentic creative applications Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D. The company said the optimized tools deliver up to 2x faster AI processing, editing, color and effects.
Adobe said it rearchitected Photoshop around GPU-accelerated compositing for faster, more responsive tasks such as removing distractions and applying effects directly on canvas. In Premiere, playback, rendering, effects, color and AI-powered tools are RTX-accelerated, and Substance 3D Painter uses RTX Spark to speed texturing steps.
Cloud Video and Brand Concierge
Adobe said Frame.io uses NVIDIA video acceleration, including NVDEC decoding and TensorRT with CUDA, moving compute-intensive decoding, preprocessing and embedding generation onto GPUs. Early results from selected transcode and search workloads show roughly 5x faster embedding generation, a 4-5x improvement in P95 processing latency and an approximately 80% smaller search proxy.
Adobe and NVIDIA also optimized Brand Concierge using NVIDIA Nemotron open models, with an enterprise version planned for later this year. NVIDIA said it selected Brand Concierge to power contextual customer interactions on NVIDIA.com.
Prior Work and Event
The companies said the work builds on a strategic partnership announced in March covering creative and marketing workflows across video, images and 3D. Adobe and NVIDIA also said they will showcase creator advancements with hardware partners at Adobe MAX, scheduled for November 10-12.
What performance gains did Adobe and NVIDIA report for Frame.io?
In early results from selected Frame.io transcode and search workloads, Adobe reported approximately 5x faster embedding generation, a 4-5x improvement in P95 processing latency and an approximately 80% smaller search proxy.
