Price, availability and markets
Apple said pre-orders for HomeView and the wall-mounted model opened October 13 at $299 in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, the UK and the U.S., with both models available November 13. Singapore pre-orders are set to begin October 15, and South Africa will sell the device through authorized resellers. Apple said HomeView is not for sale in the European Union because Siri AI is currently unavailable in iOS there.

Features and privacy
The company said the display uses face recognition to give each enrolled user a personalized Home Screen with apps and widgets, with personal content such as Messages and Calendar surfacing only for that person. It offers voice and touch smart-home controls, camera feeds, FaceTime with Center Stage, and Siri AI with Apple Intelligence. Apple said the A18 chip includes Secure Exclaves, which process camera and microphone data separately from the rest of the system, and that Siri requests can run on-device or through Private Cloud Compute.
Sound and the home lineup
Apple described a custom acoustic system with two full-range drivers, a down-firing woofer and two passive radiators, plus computational audio. The company also announced an Apple Home Collection of cameras, thermostats and a lock developed with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, with accessories starting in December and some in early 2027.
